Let's Get Crafty!

Welcome to our Trash to Treasure project! Today, we're going to create some amazing robots using recycled materials. You'll need the following items:

  • Cardboard boxes (shoe boxes or cereal boxes work well)
  • Plastic bottles
  • Newspaper or magazine cutouts
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • BASIC CRAFTING TOOLS (like glue, scissors, and a pencil)

We'll start by creating the body of our robot. Cut out shapes from cardboard to create the torso, arms, and legs. You can also use plastic bottles as the base for your robot's body.

Add Some Personality!

Now it's time to add some personality to our robot. Use newspaper or magazine cutouts to create fun details like eyes, a mouth, or even a hat! Glue them onto your robot's body to bring it to life.

  1. Use glue to attach the arms and legs to the torso.
  2. Add any final details you like (like buttons or a badge).

And that's it! You now have a unique, eco-friendly robot made from recycled materials. Be proud of your creation and show it off to your friends and family!
